Happy End at the Year's End
What could be more beautiful than the Wini this year again intensified. The
The effort to ensure the survival of such small outputs of the AT's Info with a positive - The effort to guarantee the survival of kittens is enormously high. We are grateful that we can rely on special care places for a year. The three puppies were in a foster home every two hours around the clock "nurtured" and "pampered". They had to be kept warm and constantly monitored. Renja, Ramses, and Rina were named after the little white one with little black on its back, but had great difficulty. For a long time, it was uncertain whether they would survive.

But after some anxious days and weeks, all three furry paws were over the hill. The veterinary examination revealed that they are all healthy and were tested for leukemia, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Fortunately, a wonderful place was soon found for all three together.
Thus, Renja, Ramses, and Rina moved into their new home, where they already feel completely comfortable. Like all 16-week-old puppies, they play a lot, keep the household busy, and behave like typical, happy kittens.
For these three, the signs for a long and good cat life are therefore good. sT

Abigail looks on
A slightly hoarse croaking
Hello meow dear friends
Don't worry, nothing worse.
Even I, the cat, now know: disciplined together and their dogs - Just a silly cold that I caught during my nightly rounds. My own fault, Abigail, I say. Well, dear friends. In this sense, I wish you many relaxed walks and now especially stress-free adventures during the Christmas weeks as well as restful end-of-year celebrations. Be cheerful and relaxed, it is your right and does not require any better knowledge or silly remarks. So, now I have let myself be carried away to something. But if you knew how often I observe such situations and wish that
All the best to you again!
The poor dog can't help it, but the irresponsible human who carelessly left the pile behind. While I now clean my paws, I will explain to you the little ABC of dog walking. What?
You don't know that there are unwritten rules regarding this?
Miauuuuuuuu, then it's high time I sensitize you.
Fortunately, we have many nice humans in the animal shelter who go for walks with our dogs. They also know how to behave correctly in every situation. So, for example, always take poop bags with you and use them so that I and many others don't suddenly step in it. Another important topic is crossing paths with other walkers, whether with or without a dog.
Sentences like "he doesn't do anything" hurt my fine ears when someone refuses to put their four-legged friend on a leash. Dear friends, please respect the other person and their possible insecurity or fear, take Fido and Co. on a leash, and everyone is served. What always makes me hiss are the overly motivated dog owners who let their favorites loose in every situation "so they can play".

Part 4
Animal protection thoughts
once differently
Advocating for the welfare of animals seems to be no longer a question today. However, this mainly concerns the keeping of pets or possibly farm animals. But what about many products that are also of animal origin?
We believe that there is still far too little transparency in this regard and want to provide relief with our new four-part series. In the fourth and final part, we inform you about the topic of wool.
D
AT
Especially in the cold season, a fluffy sweater is the ideal piece of clothing. The softer, the better, you probably say to yourself. But can you really wear this piece without worry, or is there possibly a lot of animal suffering hidden in this body warmer?
Thanks to the increased pressure from consumers, the fashion industry is slowly changing its stance. But just with the fur boycott, it is not enough - now wool is in line.
In summer, the "Washington Post" published terrible videos from the animal protection organization Peta, which were filmed in South African mohair goat farms. Various companies like H&M, Gap, Banana Republic, Esprit, Mango, Zara, etc. announced that they would stop selling mohair wool from 2019 or at the latest 2020, so that they do not harm each other (the implementation is still pending).
Why should one urgently refrain from buying such wool products?
Because most breeds (Angora rabbits, Mohair and cashmere goats) are located in countries like China, where animal protection laws are almost non-existent. Because Switzerland has a comparatively strict animal protection law, but still allows the import of quality products. Because the rabbits, sheep, and goats are so often and violently sheared that they suffer from frostbite and are often severely injured.
Help and only dress yourself with products that are produced under animal-friendly conditions.

News from the Animal Shelter
Animal adoption around Christmas time
We would like to inform you at this point about our already traditional handling of animal adoption around the Christmas season. To prevent thoughtless "animals as Christmas gifts" actions, the following rules apply:
From December 14 to January 3, we do not give out any animals.
Of course, you can come by, choose an animal, and also reserve it. However, the four-legged friend can only be picked up in the new year. We thank you for your understanding in the interest of animal welfare.
The entire team of the ATs thanks you, dear readers, very

Animals that urgently need a new home
Busbus
Gender: male
Age: approx. January 1, 2008
Breed:
EHK/black
Neutered: yes
Character: Busbus has been able to spend much of his life outdoors. In the animal shelter, he shows himself quite indignant about this deprivation of freedom and prefers to hide. To make more detailed statements about his character, we need to get to know Busbus better.
What we can determine, however, is that he is very affectionate with familiar people. Busbus came to the animal shelter because his owner had to move to a nursing home and unfortunately could not take him with.
Requirements: For Busbus, we are looking for a new domicile in
the countryside with people who let the freedom-loving cat be as he is and allow him the dearly loved outdoor access.

Roy and Tobi
Gender: male
Age: approx. January 1, 2011
Breed:
EHK/gray-white and black-white
Neutered: yes
Character: The two cats like people and love to be pampered. Toby has spent his life with
Roy, so the two stately furry paws will only be adopted together.
Requirements: The two affectionate cats Tobi and Roy are looking for a quiet new home together with people who take a lot of time for cuddles. After the usual
acclimatization period, they would like to enjoy outdoor access to the countryside.
