The school unit Schönau/Hohmad includes the two locations Schönau and Hohmad in the city of Thun. Approximately 540 students are taught by around 60 teachers in 7 kindergarten classes, 21 primary classes, and two KbF (grades 1 - 6). Attached are 3 day schools.

Tasks
• You lead the SH school unit as personnel, pedagogical, and administratively-organizationally co-responsible leaders in a team with the current principal.
• In collaboration with your co-principals, you are responsible for planning and implementing school development, organizational development, and teaching development topics.
• You advise teachers, parents, and students and work with teachers in the MR area, school social work, and educational counseling.
• You share responsibility for communication with all contacts.
• You share responsibility for personnel management.
• You maintain contact as a team with the parents' council.
• You are responsible for leading MR (1 person, 25 percent of the total workload).
Requirements
• You have a pedagogical education.
• Ideally, you have experience as a school principal or other leadership experience. Experience in a co-leadership model is a plus.
• You are capable of leading and managing an organization.
• Strategic and conceptual thinking and acting are natural for you.
• You are an authentic, responsible, conflict- and team-capable personality.
• You have strong communication skills.
• You are resilient and accustomed to implementing decisions constructively and respectfully.
• You are interested in school and teaching development projects.
