What you will do here
- You are responsible for expanding the field of solid wood bonding for applications in load-bearing and non-load-bearing areas
- You are responsible for representing and further developing the field in teaching and research
- You independently and continuously acquire research projects in the national and, if applicable, international environment
- You promote interdisciplinary and interdepartmental collaboration with experts from teaching and research and actively build cooperations
- You demonstrate presence in the public, in committees and commissions within the scope of the subject area and represent the university

What you ideally bring with you
- Completed university degree in wood technology, timber construction, or a comparable field
- Several years of practical experience in solid wood processing, timber construction, or bonding for load-bearing applications
- High communication and teamwork skills as well as a pronounced degree of initiative
- Excellent German skills as well as French or English as a second language
- Strong enthusiasm for teaching and openness to didactic development
The title of Professor can be used if the requirements according to the BFH personnel regulations are met.
