What you will do here

You are responsible for expanding the field of solid wood bonding for applications in load-bearing and non-load-bearing areas
You are responsible for representing and further developing the field in teaching and research
You independently and continuously acquire research projects in the national and, if applicable, international environment
You promote interdisciplinary and interdepartmental collaboration with experts from teaching and research and actively build cooperations
You demonstrate presence in the public, in committees and commissions within the scope of the subject area and represent the university

What you ideally bring with you

Completed university degree in wood technology, timber construction, or a comparable field
Several years of practical experience in solid wood processing, timber construction, or bonding for load-bearing applications
High communication and teamwork skills as well as a pronounced degree of initiative
Excellent German skills as well as French or English as a second language
Strong enthusiasm for teaching and openness to didactic development

The title of Professor can be used if the requirements according to the BFH personnel regulations are met.
