Role:
Network and security can no longer be considered separately today. As a Senior Network Engineer, you connect both worlds and design architectures according to the principles of Zero Trust and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). You accompany customer projects from the initial concept to stable operation. Your opinion carries technical weight, and you actively shape the direction of the team.
Responsibilities:
You plan, implement, and document security and network architectures.
You independently implement ICT projects and changes from conception to operational handover.
Furthermore, you specifically expand managed security services, assessments, and awareness offerings.
You develop standards, best practices, and the roadmap for cyber security and networking further.
You contribute your expertise in technical reviews, risk analyses, and complex escalations.
Additionally, you support internal teams as well as sales and presales technically and pass on your knowledge to trainees.
Qualifications:
You have several years of engineering experience in networking and cyber security.
With a completed ICT education, you bring the foundation. Further training at the level of a higher technical college (HF) or equivalent is a plus.
You have solid knowledge in network segmentation, VPN, switching, firewall, and WLAN.
Furthermore, you have experience with modern security concepts such as Zero Trust, ideally also with common SASE platforms.
You are familiar with customer projects, clean documentation, and technical standards, and you work independently, structured, and customer-oriented.
Moreover, you impress with confident German and communicate technical topics fluently in English.
