You ensure that our applications can be reliably installed, updated and operated. In doing so, you keep an eye on the interaction of application, infrastructure and databases. With stable development and test environments, you enable efficient development work and reliable releases. Senior Application & Platform Engineer 80 - 100 %

Your daily work

• You maintain and further develop our development, test and reference environments and ensure the reproducibility of customer-specific constellations and error patterns.
• You optimise and automate installation, update and configuration processes for our client-server applications and install components.
• You support development and QA with releases as well as with changes to operating systems, runtime components and infrastructure.
• You analyse complex technical escalations, logs, configurations and performance issues and derive sustainable solutions and recommendations.
• You document technical findings clearly, share your knowledge within the team and establish practical diagnostic aids.
• You bring in new approaches for automation, deployment and diagnosis and drive appropriate improvements for products and customer installations.

You have experience in computer science, application operation or a comparable technical function. 

More important to us than your educational background are your personal responsibility, willingness to learn and desire to shape things.
 

French as well as knowledge of KLIBnet or KiSS are a plus.
