About the job
Hello,
I am Marie Aguirre, recently graduated as a Montessori AMI assistant 3-6 years (IFMM). The Montessori pedagogy deeply resonates with my vision of the child, their support, and my personal values. To further this approach, I will begin training as a Montessori educator 3-6 years at ISMM in July 2025, in a hybrid format.
My path towards education is nourished by a previous academic and professional background in developmental cognitive neuroscience. I obtained a doctorate, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship on the early skills of very young children to assess the relevance of information and to protect themselves from misinformation.
I have always been passionate about child development, and I am committed to revealing their potential within a caring, structured, and respectful environment.
Bilingual in English and French, I completed all my academic studies in English-speaking environments and have passed several language tests (TOEFL, TOEIC).
I am recognised for my organisation, calmness, kindness, rigour, listening and observation skills, and adaptability. I place great importance on collaboration, teamwork, and contributing to a harmonious learning environment.
Based in Lausanne, I am available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (nursery days guaranteed), and I can easily travel by public transport or car.
I would be delighted to discuss joining a team at the start of term – or to support you with occasional cover.
See you soon,
Marie Aguirre
