Senior Public Prosecutor

Your Responsibilities

• Management of the Public Prosecutor's Office Frauenfeld, currently with 27 employees, and membership in the executive management
• Qualification of employees
• Leading preliminary proceedings including supervision and right to issue instructions to the police
• Effective and efficient conduct of criminal investigations (case management)
• Filing charges and personal representation in first and higher instance courts
• Issuing penal orders, dismissal, non-prosecution, and suspension orders
• Filing appeals
• Providing on-call service

Your Profile

• Completed law degree, preferably with a lawyer's licence or job-specific (forensic) further training such as CAS Forensics I/II
• Several years of leadership experience desired
• Qualified knowledge of criminal procedure law and criminal law
• Experience in handling criminal cases and appearing in court
• Diplomatic skills and assertiveness
• Integrity, resilience, and ability to handle conflict
• Swiss citizenship
