The AR Hospital Network
The Appenzell Ausserrhoden Hospital Network, with the Herisau Acute Hospital and the AR Psychiatric Centre in Herisau, ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the Human Resources Department under the leadership of Ms Ines Doherr, Ms Sarah Tihanyi is seeking an Education Officer for an 80% workload.
Your tasks
- Ensuring and actively further developing an innovative, needs-oriented and sustainable vocational training in line with the education strategy and the quality standards of SVAR
- Professional and personnel management of the job profiles within the area of responsibility
- Planning, controlling and organising selection, vocational training, internships and qualification procedures
- Further development and co-design of training concepts as well as internal processes and tools
- Planning and evaluation of learning and transfer days as well as enabling trainers in their implementation
- Process control in demanding training situations in cooperation with relevant stakeholders
- Contact person and representative of SVAR towards educational providers, vocational training offices and other external partners
- Advising interested persons on training choices within SVAR
- Expert activity in qualification procedures at secondary and tertiary levels
Therefore, we want you
- You have completed training as a certified nursing professional HF or a Bachelor in Nursing
- You have experience in healthcare as well as in corporate education as a trainer or education officer
- You hold the SVEB Trainer Certificate (formerly SVEB 1), ideally the federal specialist certificate Trainer
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
- You bring high social and self-competence as well as a responsible, reliable and positive attitude
- Interest in actively contributing and shaping training in the nursing sector
