About the job
To cope with the increase in activity related to vocational training, ICT-Vocational Training of Western Switzerland (ICT-FPSO) must strengthen the service by hiring a new collaborator.
This new collaborator is expected to assist the Training Manager and participate in the training of apprentices.
- Professional commissioner. This role is very important in defining the profession for initial training.
- In addition to this role, ICT-FPSO wishes to strengthen its mission in supporting the CIEs, defining curricula and informing apprentices, as well as promoting professions.
Commissioner activity:
- Control the quality of vocational training in companies.
- Advise on the granting and withdrawal of the authorisation to train.
- Pre-advise on the granting of the authorisation to train.
- Ensure that the conditions for granting the authorisation to train given to a training company, in accordance with Article 15 LVLFPr, are respected at all times.
- Collaborate with the apprentice advisor in finding another initial vocational training or another training location in accordance with Article 93, paragraph 3, letter b.
- Control the quality of inter-company courses.
- Submit contentious cases of authorisation to train to the vocational training commission.
Support for CIEs and initial training:
- Communicate information on the monitoring of apprentices (new contract, repetition, termination, etc.).
- Analyse and communicate the CIEs in which apprentices must be enrolled.
- Organise any sessions related to access to CIE exams.
- Ensure constructive contact between CIE organisers and various external actors (authorities, companies, schools, etc.).
- Organise information sessions for apprentices (new), parents and trainers.
Promotion of ICT professions and interface with umbrella organisations:
- Participate in various working sessions of umbrella organisations for the development of initial training (ICT-BB, ISL, etc.).
- Report information and new directions to the "Training" commission of the GRI.
- Submit consultations on important elements of the evolution of professions.
- Participate in presentation sessions of training pathways.
- Organise and attend various career fairs.
Teaching:
- Participate in the selection sessions of CIEs and their allocation.
- Participate in aptitude tests.
- Assist the Educational Management in organising curricula and resources.
- Teach within the framework of preparatory and continuing training.
Profile:
- Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) as media technician or equivalent qualification
- Certificate for company trainers (CFFE) (possibility to acquire during employment).
- Continuing or higher education in fields relevant to the role.
- Several years of successful professional experience related to the professions under their responsibility (generally at least 5 years).
- Good knowledge of the vocational training system, its legal framework and organisation, as well as the Vaud economic environment.
- Driving licence essential.
