Role:
Are you looking for a challenge where you can apply your skills to ensure a secure power supply? In this role as a Cloud Security Engineer, you take responsibility for the security of a modern and highly available IT environment. You are part of an international, dynamic, and innovative team characterised by high technical maturity and a strong service-oriented attitude. You can look forward to a challenging task where you can apply your knowledge and experience to design and operate the IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
You develop protection architectures for Azure environments and embed security requirements directly into the platform.
You investigate vulnerabilities, assess threat scenarios, and prioritise appropriate countermeasures.
You accompany cloud projects from protection needs analysis to the technical implementation of suitable security solutions.
You establish binding policies, check their effectiveness, and keep security concepts up to date.
You promote knowledge transfer through comprehensible documentation and support exchange with internal specialist departments.
Qualifications:
Completed master's degree in computer science or cyber security, supplemented by appropriate Azure training or recognised professional certificates.
Several years of professional experience in securing cloud-based infrastructures and digital platforms.
Experience with penetration tests, vulnerability analyses, red team methods, or comparable offensive testing procedures.
Sound knowledge of Azure services as well as cloud models such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS; familiarity with Terraform, Git, and automated deployment processes.
Understanding of common security standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST, and ideally practical experience with AKS or identity and access management; fluent German and English.
