Your Tasks

In this versatile role, you are responsible for the correct and timely processing of supplier invoices. Your main tasks include:

• Checking and posting supplier invoices and credit notes in SAP
• Ensuring the accuracy of invoice details, especially regarding address data and VAT
• Scanning and assigning documents to SAP purchase orders
• Communicating with suppliers regarding missing or incorrect invoices
• Reconciling open invoices for specified period-end closings
• Continuous improvement of your own processes including independently managing relevant projects
• Assisting with monthly closings (goods receipt/invoice receipt)
• Account assignment of invoices outside the SAP workflow
• Checking and correcting sender countries
• Processing payment confirmations and supporting dunning procedures
• Proper archiving of relevant documents

The position is organisationally assigned to raw material procurement and reports directly to the Team Lead Chemical Procurement.

Your Profile

You are a committed individual with an independent and structured way of working. Additionally, you bring the following:

• Several years of professional experience in accounting or accounts payable management
• An affinity for numbers as well as high accuracy and diligence
• Very good SAP knowledge and confident use of common IT applications
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• A strong sense of responsibility and a reliable working style
• High initiative as well as a solution-oriented and team-capable personality
• Networked thinking and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration
• Availability during month-end closing periods
