Your responsibilities:
- Management of the media and information offerings of the Infothek, including research, procurement, recording and updating of relevant information resources.
- Creation and updating of fact sheets, texts and other analogue and digital information materials as well as target group-oriented preparation and communication of the content.
- Collaboration in the development of new information formats and the further development of existing information offerings.
- Collaboration in the further development and management of LBZ Link as well as other digital information platforms and CMS systems.
- Collaboration in the further development of the Infothek and in other sub-projects as well as optimisation of information offerings and processes.
- Taking on Infothek services and information discussions with customers.
- Support for career, study and career advisors with professional questions and research as well as collaboration in information and teaching units with groups and school classes and in the introduction to the career choice trail.
- Collaboration in the organisation and implementation of events as well as maintenance of cooperation with external institutions and specialist offices.
Your background:
- You have a qualification as an Information and Documentation Specialist EFZ, as a Bookseller EFZ or a comparable education in the library or information sector.
- You have good IT skills and an interest in the further development of digital information offerings.
- You are open to new developments in the field of knowledge and media management and have a networked way of thinking.
- You contribute creatively to the target group-oriented creation and updating of our information products.
- You have excellent German language skills, both spoken and written.
- You impress with a strong presence and good communication skills.
- You are an independent, team-oriented and service-minded personality with a careful, flexible and resilient working style.

Department of Vocational Education, Secondary Schools and Universities
The Career Centre (LBZ BL) in Pratteln, including mentoring and general further education, is a main department of the Department of Vocational Education, Secondary Schools and Universities (BMH). The LBZ BL advises and informs young people and adults on all questions of career, school and study choice as well as career planning and operates a public Infothek. The Career Centre cooperates with schools, public training and partner institutions and conducts consultations and courses on behalf of third parties.
