The Employment Integration Office of the City of Thun supports unemployed and social assistance recipients in professional and social integration. We offer temporary placements in our own group programs (Work Deployment Thun, Creative and Workshop Studio Alpenrösli, and Bike Station Thun) as well as in external companies.
For this meaningful and exciting position, we are looking for an immediate or agreed upon start:
Your tasks:
- Leading, guiding, and supervising participants in the specialist areas of park maintenance, firewood, hiking trails, cleaning, and other maintenance work
- Assisting in all craft areas of the work deployment (carpentry, painting, logistics of the creative and workshop studio)
- Conducting entry and exit interviews as well as location discussions in interdisciplinary teams
- Assisting in the further development of the offer
- Various administrative tasks including managing the case management system
You bring with you:
- Craft vocational training EFZ, preferably in the area of gardener, landscape gardener, forester, or facility maintenance specialist
- Additional training in the work agogic field
- Experience in social and professional integration work with people in challenging situations
- Communication and conflict skills, initiative, and networked thinking
- Assertiveness, teamwork, resilience, loyalty, and independence
- Humor and composure, even in hectic times
- Driver's license B
