Senior Embedded Software Engineer C/C++ (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Conceptualisation, design, and implementation of sophisticated embedded software in C/C++ for our measurement and sensor systems
• Development of system architectures, technical concepts, and specifications as well as design of complex software and hardware functions
• Processing, analysing, and interpreting sensor signals and developing corresponding algorithms
• Participation in agile software development and collaboration in international, interdisciplinary teams
• Supporting our embedded systems throughout the entire product lifecycle – from idea to market launch
• Conducting verifications, system tests, and field trials with customers abroad, for example in India or China
• Evaluating new technologies and developing innovative approaches for future products and applications

Your toolkit

• University degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification, plus several years of experience in embedded software development
• Excellent knowledge of C/C++ and the corresponding development tools as well as experience with agile software development
• Solid know-how in microprocessors, sensor technology, measurement technology, and electronic circuits
• Experience in the conception, architecture, and implementation of complex technical systems, ideally in the field of sensor, measurement, or testing systems
• Practical experience in processing and analysing measurement and sensor data; knowledge of statistical evaluation methods, experience with Linux® or electronics development is an advantage
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written; willingness to travel
• High initiative, an independent and structured way of working, and enjoyment in taking responsibility, driving new ideas forward, and analytically addressing technical issues
