Department:DECSEntity:Migration Service (SMIG) - Social Office for Asylum in Secondary Reception (OSAS)Activities:As a social worker at OSAS, you provide personalised support to individuals from the asylum sector as soon as they leave the collective first reception centres.A key lever of your support, you administer material assistance ensuring the correct application of current standards and directives.
You manage the administrative and financial aspects of your cases with rigour, thus ensuring the proper implementation of the cantonal policy established by the migration service.
Versatile and committed, you engage in various service projects, thereby directly contributing to the success of OSAS’s missions.
Desired profile:Holder of a social worker training or a university degree in social sciences or migration. You demonstrate a particular sensitivity to issues related to migration and asylum. Thanks to your interpersonal skills, rigour, and mastery of methodological tools, you guarantee quality support for beneficiaries of social assistance for asylum seekers.In your professional stance, you know how to rely on the institutional network to ensure individualised and coherent social support with regard to the beneficiaries’ search for autonomy.
Good knowledge of common IT tools is necessary and oral proficiency in English is an asset.
