To strengthen our engineering team, we are looking for an experienced specialist in the setup, implementation, and operation of Private 5G projects who wishes to continue their success story in the enterprise environment and shape the next technological step with us.

Your tasks

Among other things, you will take on the following tasks:

• Planning, design, and implementation of sophisticated Huawei Private 5G communication solutions and private cloud infrastructures
• Architecture, migration, and modernisation of existing networks
• Consulting our enterprise customers in the areas of networks and communication solutions
• Implementation and operation of networks and communication solutions with Private 5G
• Analysis and troubleshooting of complex network environments and communication solutions
• Development of technical concepts, migration strategies, and operating models
• Conducting proof of concepts (PoCs), workshops, and technical consulting for our partners and customers
• Supporting our sales teams in presales and architecture projects

You enjoy getting to know new technologies, developing innovative solution approaches, and supporting our customers and partners in their strategic development. When formulating these offers, the employee coordinates with sales, administration, and suppliers. Often, they create specifications, i.e. the description of the properties of a product ordered by the client. These specifications must be taken into account for the product or service. Furthermore, they present standardised products and occasionally attend trade fairs and other events. Therefore, the employee often works closely with sales and marketing.

Your profile

• Several years of practical experience as a network specialist in the field of Private 5G
• Successful project experience in the enterprise environment
• Ideally at least 30 years old and correspondingly experienced in handling complex customer projects
• Completed training or studies in computer science, systems engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Very good knowledge of network solutions, ideally with Huawei HCIE certification
• Solid network knowledge (TCP/IP, switching, routing, VLANs)
• Interest in modern technologies and automation
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland and the DACH region
• Very good English and Chinese skills, both written and spoken
• German and French skills are an additional advantage

In addition to in-depth expertise, the sought-after employee must be able to understand complex contexts and explain them clearly to contribute to solving the problems of the customers supported. Analytical thinking is required to understand the operational processes in the customer's company, as well as good communication skills for daily interaction with customers, suppliers, partners, and colleagues. For negotiations with suppliers, an existing network in mainland China and Hong Kong is advantageous.
