Experience: You have professional and leadership experience as well as a teaching qualification for primary school or an equivalent non-school pedagogical qualification and good knowledge in the education sector.

Personality: You are a charismatic leader who boldly takes the lead and motivates your environment. Thanks to your strong communication skills, you build trust, actively involve your counterpart and represent your decisions clearly and appreciatively.

Education: A school leadership or management qualification or an equivalent non-school pedagogical qualification is desired.

The Primary Schools Division of the Department of Education Basel-Stadt covers the entire compulsory school period, from kindergarten through primary school to secondary school. It is responsible for school operations and extracurricular care services. The division advocates for an inclusive school where all children are accepted and supported according to their abilities.
