Junior Controller (m/f/d)

About the job

Together with the controlling team at the Hamburg location, we are responsible for project controlling for the business area "Systems & Integration" – from the offer phase to the successful handover of highly complex systems to our customers. In doing so, we work closely with sales, bid management, project management, and customer service, while also taking on internal reporting.

Your tasks

• Collaboration in project, business, and overhead cost controlling of the individual business areas
• Preparation of hour and cost evaluations, post-calculations as well as target-actual and variance analyses
• Tracking of project milestones and invoicing of services
• Support with project-related provisions and valuations as well as checking of offer calculations
• Collaboration in internal reporting as well as monthly and quarterly reporting to management and holding
• Participation in annual planning, cost and earnings forecasts, and liquidity planning
• Evaluation of overhead cost centres and preparation of relevant key figures and reports
• Maintenance and further development of existing controlling instruments as well as preparation of ad-hoc analyses

Your profile

• Completed business studies with a focus on controlling or finance or a commercial apprenticeship with corresponding further training in finance and accounting / controlling
• Initial professional experience in controlling, ideally in project or corporate environments, is an advantage; career starters with the appropriate qualifications are also welcome
• Very good analytical thinking skills, strong affinity for numbers, and a structured, careful working style
• Confident handling of MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to take on operational topics in the finance area in addition to classic controlling tasks
• Teamwork, initiative, and strong communication skills
• Very good German and good English skills
