Senior Microsoft 365 Consultant (m/f/d)

Role:
Managing cloud environments at the highest level and making the difference between a good and an outstanding solution: that is exactly what working as a Senior Microsoft 365 Consultant entails. You take responsibility for complex Microsoft 365 and Azure environments across multiple customer tenants. You are not only a technician but also a consultant who keeps an eye on the security, stability and further development of the systems. Those who think analytically and enjoy working directly with customers will find a challenging environment with plenty of scope for creativity in this role.
Responsibilities:
You operate, configure and analyse Microsoft 365 core technologies such as Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams as well as Azure IaaS environments across various customer tenants
You further develop the Microsoft Defender suite as well as security and compliance environments and analyse security incidents including threat mitigation and reporting
You plan and implement migration projects from on-premises to the cloud and between cloud platforms
You are responsible for identity management with Entra ID and conditional access as well as device management with Microsoft Intune
Additionally, you design backup and disaster recovery strategies for Azure and Microsoft 365 and automate recurring tasks with PowerShell
Qualifications:
You bring several years of hands-on experience in the administration of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, with a relevant part in customer-facing managed services or IT consulting
Solid practical experience with Entra ID, conditional access, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Intune distinguishes you
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and network infrastructure is part of your profile
An Azure Administrator certification (AZ-104) or an equivalent qualification completes your profile
You are familiar with security tools and frameworks such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint or Office 365 as well as standards like ISO 27001 or NIST
Furthermore, you communicate fluently in German and have good English skills, work in a structured and independent manner and enjoy direct customer contact
