We at the Swiss Federal Audit Office are the supreme financial supervisory authority of the Confederation. We check whether the administration uses federal funds in accordance with the law, economically and effectively. In addition, we are also the independent contact point of the Confederation for whistleblowing. This way, we support Parliament and the Federal Council in exercising their supervision over the administration.
