Implementation and maintenance of security baselines and technical hardening measures according to CIS standards for Windows and Linux servers.
Design and optimisation of operational processes, including runbooks, monitoring concepts, as well as regulated change and release procedures.
Investigation of security alerts and IT security incidents, initiation of appropriate countermeasures, and coordination of long-term error resolution.
Translation of security and compliance requirements into technical measures, documentation of implementation, and creation of ISDS concepts to support regulatory requirements.
Close coordination with system engineering, information security, and other internal and external contacts to continuously improve the security level.
Qualifications:
Completed IT training EFZ or equivalent qualification; certifications such as LPIC-2, AZ-800/AZ-802, Security+ or GSEC are welcome or will be acquired alongside work.
Practical experience in system engineering with Windows and Linux, especially with PowerShell, Group Policies, OpenSCAP, and Ansible.
Knowledge in applying CIS benchmarks and corresponding tools to verify and implement security standards.
Solid understanding of IT security, compliance, data protection, permission models, and classification of sensitive information.
Structured and responsible working style, high willingness to learn, as well as strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with different stakeholders, ideally in the public administration environment.
Work location and residence: The position is not remote and requires on-site work. Residence in Switzerland, willingness to relocate to Switzerland, or work as a cross-border commuter is required.
