About the job
The Stöckenweid Foundation offers living and working space for over 90 people with support needs. It provides people with meaningful activities in which they can contribute and participate in society. In the kitchen, employees with cognitive, psychological, physical, and multiple impairments work, accompanied by specialised staff in their daily work.

Cook EFZ 80% (fixed-term employment until 31.10.2027 with option for extension)
In this versatile sales, advisory, and support role, you represent our organic shop both internally and externally. With your enthusiasm for high-quality food and enjoyment, you serve and advise our customers in a friendly, competent, and needs-oriented manner.
Your main tasks are
- Independent preparation of up to 100 meals daily for our residents, employees, and guests
- Implementation of our nutritional principles
- Co-responsibility for the guidance/pedagogical support of our kitchen staff and apprentices (PrA/EBA)
- Support in the training of apprentices in the kitchen within a vocational measure of the IV
- Participation in seasonal and regional purchasing as well as menu planning
- Compliance with food legislation, occupational safety, hygiene regulations, and nutritional principles
- Participation in the organisation of daily business and team leadership
- Co-responsibility for efficient inventory management and product range depth

We expect from you
- Completed training as a Cook EFZ with professional experience
- Knowledge and interest in organic, seasonal, and regional cuisine
- Experience in community catering is an advantage
- Experience in practical instruction or work-pedagogical activity is an advantage
- Teamwork, social skills, and openness towards people with impairments
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
- Willingness to take responsibility
