Tarzan is a Swiss street fashion label with over 25 years of experience in the development and production of sustainable textiles. Our own collections are at the heart of our work, combining design, quality and responsibility.

Sustainability is not an add-on for us, but an integral part of our DNA – from material selection through production to the finished product. We are looking for people who share these values and want to actively develop them further.

With four stores in Basel, Zurich and St. Gallen as well as a webshop, Tarzan is present throughout Switzerland. In addition to our collections, we also outfit employees of companies such as SRF, Coop, tibits, Bio Suisse or LILY’S.

For our back office in Basel, near the SBB train station, we are looking for someone from mid-October or by arrangement:

Pattern Technician (a) 50-60%

Your responsibilities include:

• Measuring and assessing samples
• Creating and adjusting size charts
• Checking and commenting on samples
• Communicating with producers in English
• Creating and maintaining worksheets
• Creating technical drawings with Adobe Illustrator
• Supporting product development (pattern technology, design & production)
• Administrative and organisational tasks in the design/production process

You bring with you:

• Training as a pattern technician, clothing designer or fashion designer
• Several years of experience in pattern technology (mandatory)
• Independent, structured and precise working style
• Flexibility and openness
• Very good German skills, spoken and written
• Good English skills and confident use of technical terminology
• Very good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Microsoft Excel
