Your tasks...
1. Customer support and troubleshooting
- Support requests: Receiving and processing support requests (1st and 2nd level support) via telephone and e-mail.
- Error analysis: Systematic analysis and resolution of faults in customer systems related to our control systems, including conducting test setups.
2. System maintenance and support
- Operation and maintenance: Support and maintenance of control system applications at customers, both via portal, remotely and partly on site.
- Order processing: Handling of prioritised and scheduled orders from the internal ticketing system regarding adjustments, extensions of customer projects and fault rectification.
3. Development and optimisation
- Test environments: Setting up and independently conducting tests in test environments to support the development department with customer issues.
- Utility programmes: Creating utility programmes/scripts for testing software/applications and/or optimising processes (also for customers).
4. Project implementation and documentation
- Commissioning: Supporting project engineers during the commissioning of new systems for special tasks.
- Documentation: Creating and updating tickets, system documentation and instructions.
What you bring with you...
For this exciting role you bring the following qualities:
- Completed technical basic training, e.g. as an automation technician, electronics technician or IT specialist EFZ.
- Initial professional experience in technical support, IT system support or automation environment is an advantage.
- Good IT knowledge in Windows and Linux environments as well as in network technology.
- Experience with PLC controls or control systems is a plus.
- You are a communicative and patient personality with a strong customer and service orientation.
- Your working style is independent, structured and solution-oriented.
- Confident German language skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills. French skills are an advantage.
