About the job
The Swiss Cancer Institute is the national network for clinical cancer research in Switzerland. Since 1965, we have been committed as a non-profit organisation to improving cancer treatment for the Swiss population. According to our vision "Clinical research for a cure tomorrow," we conduct clinical studies in oncology and serve as the central contact point for authorities, professional associations, and the pharmaceutical industry. Around 70 employees work at the competence centre in Bern, closely collaborating with all leading oncological clinics in the country.
To strengthen our monitoring team, we are looking for an engaged, experienced colleague to start immediately or by arrangement
Clinical Research Associate (CRA) 80-100%
Your tasks:
- You ensure the quality of clinical Phase I-III studies throughout Switzerland in compliance with applicable local and international guidelines and laws
- You review the conduct of the study and adherence to the protocols at the study centres on-site as well as via remote monitoring
- You carry out the initiation, monitoring, and closure of your own study projects according to the monitoring plan and regularly report in writing on the monitoring activities
- You perform study-specific risk analyses and develop or create the study-specific monitoring plans
- You form an important link between the competence centre of the Swiss Cancer Institute and the study centres and contribute significantly to ensuring a smooth flow of information
What you bring:
- Completed training in healthcare/sciences or a Bachelor’s degree from a university of applied sciences/university/ETH
- At least 1-2 years of professional experience in monitoring clinical studies
- Good knowledge of VKlin and ICH/GCP as well as common Office programmes
- An exact, goal- and solution-oriented working style
- Very good communication skills, which you use diplomatically
- You appreciate independent work and a travel activity of about 40%
Excellent knowledge of English and German, and you can communicate in French and Italian
