Role:
A modern workplace stands and falls with well-managed end devices. As a Microsoft 365 Engineer, you take technical responsibility for the Windows and mobile platform within a Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. Your toolkit ranges from Microsoft Intune through endpoint security to automation with PowerShell. Instead of maintaining workarounds, you develop the platform purposefully and set standards that are sustainable in the long term.
Responsibilities:
You build configuration profiles, compliance, and endpoint security policies for Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
This includes managing update rings and the entire patch management for feature and quality updates.
You analyse complex issues in 2nd and 3rd level support and find the actual cause with root cause analyses.
You package applications and distribute them automatically to the end devices.
Furthermore, you automate onboarding and offboarding including licences, permissions, and device configurations, and optimise Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
You also plan changes, migrations, and lifecycle measures and further develop operational concepts and documentation.
Qualifications:
You have at least 3 years of experience in endpoint, workplace, or client engineering.
You are familiar with Intune in practice, including MDM, MAM, device enrolment, and automated software distribution.
Sound knowledge of Windows 10/11 and common Microsoft 365 services such as OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint is part of your repertoire.
You have already worked productively with Windows Autopilot, Windows Update for Business, and endpoint security technologies.
Additionally, you write scripts for automation and understand the interplay of security, identity, and endpoint management.
You work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, pursue error patterns persistently, and communicate effortlessly in German as well as competently in English.
