The Office for Landscape and Nature (ALN) fulfils diverse and forward-looking tasks for the Canton of Zurich in the areas of agriculture and forestry, nature and soil protection, sustainable food systems, as well as hunting and fishing. We are looking for a student assistant to support our team of four legal officers immediately or by arrangement.
Your Tasks
- Independent management of ALN coordination matters with other offices and directorates (e.g. deadline monitoring, compiling statements, checking, initial editing)
- Support of the legal service in various legal matters (e.g. preparing legal opinion orders, research in literature and case law)
- Drafting of ALN co-reports and balancing of interests
- Support in legislative projects (mainly legal clarifications, drafting reports, evaluation of consultations) and political matters as well as various administrative tasks
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's student in law
- Independent, careful and proactive working style as well as interest in the ALN's field of activity
- Enjoyment of complex legal issues and independent problem-solving
- Structured thinking and editorial flair as well as organisational skills
- Confident use of MS Office programmes as well as flexibility, teamwork and reliability
