Role:

As an Azure DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer, you design a Microsoft Azure environment that goes far beyond virtual machines. Identities, networks, and modern workplaces come together with you. Automation with PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is not a side issue for you but a working principle. This way, you harmonise operation and further development. Your technical decisions have a tangible impact.

Responsibilities:

• You automate recurring operational processes with PowerShell and specifically expand cloud components using IaC.

• You design Azure resources such as virtual networks, subnets, and NSGs as well as compute and storage services and bring them into production.

• You are responsible for roles, app registrations, and enterprise applications for Entra ID and implement identity and access requirements technically.

• Furthermore, you manage modern workplace solutions with Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, and Windows 365.

• You set up monitoring, logging, and alerting, strengthen backup and security solutions, and keep the Windows Server platform performant.

• Additionally, you drive migrations, changes, and lifecycle measures forward, resolve complex faults through root cause analysis, and specifically reduce cloud costs.

Qualifications:

• You have at least 3 years of practical experience in engineering Azure and Windows Server systems.

• You are proficient in Azure IaaS and PaaS, especially virtual machines, storage, network segmentation, and private connections.

• You have a deep understanding of routing, DNS, VPN, and firewalls and have already built hybrid networks.

• Additionally, you have experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates as well as with Log Analytics and Azure Monitor.

• You are familiar with RBAC, Intune, Windows 365, and client infrastructures. You also confidently implement backup and business continuity concepts.

• Moreover, you maintain an overview during multi-layered faults and work independently. You speak German fluently and can easily read English manufacturer documentation.
