The Crans-Montana Clinic, nestled in the heart of the Valais Alps, is a hospital site of the HUG. Its hospital missions consist of caring for patients for rehabilitation in general internal and psychosomatic medicine, polyvalent post-operative or post-hospitalization rehabilitation in an acute setting. The Crans Montana Clinic holds FMH recognition for general internal medicine and trains internal medicine doctors. It develops academic research projects in connection with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva.
Job description
You wish to put your skills in adapted physical activity at the service of a humane and comprehensive care of patients in rehabilitation. Within a committed multidisciplinary team, you design and deliver adapted physical activity sessions, personalized according to the needs, capacities, and therapeutic objectives of each patient.
You perform physical capacity assessments through effort tests and functional evaluations covering aerobic capacity, coordination, balance, muscle strength, and flexibility, in the fields of rehabilitation in internal and oncological medicine, psychosomatic and musculoskeletal. You lead group stretching and relaxation classes and actively participate in the animation or co-animation of therapeutic groups within the framework of therapeutic education.
As a full actor in the rehabilitation program, you contribute to outdoor activities and ensure the moral and physical comfort of patients throughout their care pathway, respecting hygiene and safety rules. You share your observations and expertise with your colleagues, participate in interdisciplinary exchanges, conferences, and meetings, and take part in the continuous improvement of the quality of rehabilitation programs.
You also ensure the preparation, maintenance, and storage of the equipment used, report any anomalies, and participate in identifying equipment needs. You contribute to welcoming and integrating new employees and interns and commit yourself to developing your skills through continuing education and participation in reflection or working groups.
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in adapted physical activity or an equivalent recognized diploma and wish to invest yourself in an institutional environment focused on rehabilitation and quality of care. You have solid skills in functional evaluation and in implementing adapted physical activity programs for patients with various pathologies.
Endowed with excellent interpersonal skills, you appreciate teamwork and place particular importance on the quality of the therapeutic relationship. You share values of respect, trust, recognition, equality, and inclusion and distinguish yourself by your commitment, rigor, and motivation to actively contribute to the well-being and rehabilitation of patients.
Proactive, you want to contribute to the projects of a large institution such as the HUG and identify with our institutional values.
You possess very good computer skills and an excellent command of the French language, both spoken and written, with level C1 required for non-French speakers.
