The Integration Office is the cantonal contact point for all questions concerning integration. It coordinates and supports measures within the framework of the cantonal integration programme (KIP), assists public and private institutions, and networks regional actors.
Furthermore, it specifically promotes the integration of recognised refugees, provisionally admitted persons, and people with protection status S.
The Office for Internal Affairs is looking for a case management employee for the Integration Office immediately or by arrangement, with a 40% workload.
The position is fixed-term until 31 December 2027, as it is a KIP assignment within the framework of protection status S.
Your tasks
- Comprehensive case management of migrants and refugees.
- Conducting initial interviews.
- Individual needs analysis and creating, implementing, and updating integration plans.
- Advice and support in the areas of language, education, work, health, and social participation.
- Coordination and collaboration with educational providers, job coaches, authorities, and social services.
- Documentation of case progress and reporting.
- Crisis intervention and conflict management.
- Participation in networking and further development of integration services.
Your profile
- Completed studies in social work, social pedagogy, migration pedagogy, or a comparable qualification.
- Knowledge of residence, asylum, and social law (or willingness to familiarise oneself).
- Experience in counselling or casework with migrants is an advantage.
- Good command of German, spoken and written.
- Strong intercultural competence.
- Empathy, sensitivity, and professional handling of stressful life situations, with the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
- Structured, independent, and responsible working style.
- Communication and cooperation skills, resilience.
