About the job

The Joint Upper School Underchläggi – GOSU – represents a forward-looking, joint educational project in Unterklettgau. Seven municipalities are pooling their resources to create, from 1 August 2026, in a new building in Neunkirch, an inspiring, lively and supportive learning environment for around 300 pupils, in which the previous school locations Hallau, Neunkirch and Wilchingen will be merged into an inclusive school community.

We accompany, develop and promote personality-forming self-responsibility and independence in learning within learning landscapes, where pupils have a personal workspace and work together on implementing our new pedagogical concept, which aims for comprehensive, resource-oriented support for all.

To complement our upper school, we are looking for an experienced person as a school social worker from 1 August 2026.

School social work at OS Neunkirch, fixed-term 6-12 months, follow-up employment possible (100% during teaching hours)

Your area of responsibility

• Support and assistance for pupils and teachers in everyday school life
• Initiation and implementation of preventive and intervention measures
• Temporary case management and counselling on social issues
• Active participation in the integration process of three existing school locations into a shared school culture
• Contribution to the cultural development of the new upper school
• Collaboration as an interdisciplinary specialist (IPF) with membership in the parent and pupil council
• Development of foundations for a future school social work concept (approx. 10% of workload)

Your profile

• Training in school social work (SSA), social pedagogy or a comparable qualification
• Enjoyment in building up and actively shaping transition processes
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
