About the job

Job responsibilities:

• Ensure presence, supervision and security of residents during the night.
• Carry out regular rounds in living areas and check on residents' well-being.
• Respond to bells, calls and requests from residents and provide assistance appropriate to your skills.
• Observe and report any changes in behaviour, discomfort, falls or unusual situations to the night nurse. Perform tasks delegated by nurses.
• Contribute to the comfort and calming of residents: positioning, assistance to the toilet, occasional help according to needs and authorised skills.
• Respect safety instructions, establishment procedures and emergency measures.
• Maintain a calm, secure environment conducive to residents' rest.
• Ensure traceability of events and observations according to EMS procedures.
• Provide clear and precise handovers to the morning team to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in maintaining the dignity, privacy and autonomy of residents during the night.

Essential requirements for the role:

• Red Cross Health Auxiliary Certificate or AFP Care and Support (ASA)
• Proficiency in spoken and written French
• Proficiency in IT tools
• Sense of collaboration and communication
• Team spirit and empathy
• Patience, tolerance, respect for others, discretion
• Autonomy
