Integration of the practical placement for the SRK Care Assistant course possible
The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of the City of Winterthur in its five retirement homes as well as through Spitex.We offer a reliable and sociable person the opportunity to gain initial experience in the field of care during a fixed-term placement of 3 to 12 months by arrangement at the Adlergarten Retirement Home.
Your tasks
- Active assistance in care according to competence description
- Active assistance in domestic tasks
- Accompanying and supporting residents in simple situations
- Assisting with residents’ leisure activities
- Day and late shifts (including weekend shifts)
Your profile
- Insight into activities in the healthcare sector and gaining practical experience
- For graduates of the SRK Care Assistant course
- Helpful personality with joy and interest in working with elderly people
- Team player, reliable and responsible
- Understanding of the Swiss dialect as well as good oral and written German skills (mandatory level B2)
