Together with Klinik Zugersee and the decentralised outpatient clinics, we ensure psychiatric care in the cantons of Uri, Schwyz, and Zug. The Outpatient Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Zug with the outpatient clinic in Baar holds FMH/SIWF recognition as a Category A training centre. It ensures psychiatric and psychotherapeutic primary care for the adult population in the canton of Zug. Due to a retirement, we are looking for a competent individual for our location in Baar from 1 January 2027 in the role ofSocial Worker (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities include
- Advice on work and vocational integration, securing livelihood, debt regulation, social insurance law, adult protection law, civil and criminal law
- Advice and support regarding housing situations, social integration
- Participation in assessment interviews
- Social psychiatric support
- Networking and coordination with other institutions, counselling centres, authorities, municipal social services, and relatives
- Collaboration in the interdisciplinary treatment team
- General administrative tasks
You bring with you
- Diploma in Social Work FH or HF with solid expertise in social work
- Interest and experience in the field of psychiatry
- An additional qualification in counselling/communication is helpful
- Strong social and communication skills with empathy for people in difficult life situations
- High sense of responsibility as well as confident demeanour and flexibility
- Quick comprehension, reliable and independent working style
- Ability to maintain an overview even under high workload
- Joy and commitment to working in a motivated team, active exchange of knowledge and experience
- Good user skills in MS Office
- Flawless German language skills in spoken and written form; foreign language skills are an advantage
