Role:
You take responsibility for networks that many people rely on daily. As a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer, you combine deep network knowledge with a keen eye for cybersecurity. You make technical decisions based on solid grounds and represent them with conviction. Whether Palo Alto Networks or Cisco, you know the strengths of each platform and use them purposefully. Those who like to shape architecture rather than just process tickets will find the right environment here.
Responsibilities:
You design secure network architectures for data centres, campuses, and cloud connections
You critically review firewall rules and keep them lean and comprehensible
You automate recurring configurations with Python or Ansible
Furthermore, you monitor the infrastructure and resolve complex issues at the third-level support
For architectural questions, you are the first point of contact for project managers and departments
You also document standards and pass on your knowledge to junior team members
Qualifications:
You have several years of experience in engineering enterprise networks and security solutions
You hold a degree in computer science, an apprenticeship with further training, or an equivalent career path
Certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, or NSE are a clear advantage
You also have solid knowledge in cloud networking, ideally with Microsoft Azure
You explain complex contexts clearly and tackle problems with initiative
You negotiate confidently in German and conduct technical discussions effortlessly in English
