IT Systems Engineer for IT Workplace & OT Integration (m/f/d)

These are your tasks:

• Global Endpoint Management: You manage our worldwide device landscape (Windows11, Android, and iOS) using Microsoft Intune & Autopilot and ensure a first-class device experience through automated rollouts.
• Proactive Security: You maintain our security stacks (including SentinelOne, Bitdefender) and use XM-Cyber not only to find vulnerabilities but to proactively close them.
• Hardening & Standards: In close cooperation with IT security, you further develop security policies and implement hardening measures for our devices globally.
• Interface to Production: You flawlessly integrate production-related hardware such as scanners, tablets, and 3D printers into our network, realize data connection via data diodes, and ensure that special hardware does not pose a risk but flows seamlessly and stably into the IT infrastructure.
• Support: As a competent entity in 2nd-level support, you solve hardware and software issues and ensure quality within our ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
• Smart Automation: You identify optimization potentials and confidently automate recurring tasks using PowerShell and modern cloud tools.
• Knowledge Transfer: You create precise technical documentation and operation manuals to ensure smooth operation in the long term.
• Team Player: You work agilely with other teams such as Infrastructure Solutions and IT Security to successfully carry out cross-disciplinary projects.

What you bring with you:

• You have a degree in computer science, training as an IT specialist (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification with professional experience.
• You are confident in handling Microsoft Intune (or comparable MDM solutions). Ideally, you have already worked with modern EDR/XDR tools like SentinelOne or have experience in vulnerability management (e.g., with XM-Cyber).
• Terms like endpoint hardening, patch management, and configuration baselines are not theoretical concepts for you but lived practice.
• You understand the requirements for security and compliance in a global client environment and know how to implement them without loss of productivity.
• You have a genuine interest in integrating hardware in laboratory or manufacturing environments.
• You are not afraid to look for the best solution for data connection directly on-site at the machine or in the lab.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID complete your profile.
• In our global environment, you communicate confidently in German and English.
