Apprenticeship as Plant and Apparatus Builder EFZ (F/M/D) / Apprenticeship Start 2027
The apprentice plant and apparatus builders manufacture individual parts as well as assemblies and systems from metal based on
technical drawings.
Various products are produced for our customers: machine housings, apparatus for climate, heating and water systems, components and assemblies for railway carriages, vehicles, etc.
The most important working material for plant and apparatus builders is metal.
They learn all separation, forming and joining techniques. The apprentices work both with hand tools and with computer-controlled machines, such as lasers.
Personal requirements

- No allergies to metals, fats and oils
- Ability to work in a team and independently
Educational requirements
- Good upper secondary level, good performance in mathematics
