What you can achieve

• Development across various application layers – from backend and web applications to building a new mobile app
• End-to-end responsibility for assigned software solutions from conception through development to productive operation
• Development of secure messaging solutions focusing on end-to-end encryption, data protection, and reliable, scalable communication
• Participation in the selection and evaluation of suitable technologies, frameworks, and development tools
• Close collaboration with specialist departments and stakeholders to develop a user-centred solution
• Design, implementation, and optimisation of new app features throughout the entire software lifecycle
• Implementation of modern CI/CD pipelines as well as automation of build, test, and release processes
• Ensuring high standards of quality, security, and performance

What you bring with you

• Degree in computer science, apprenticeship as an IT specialist EFZ, or comparable qualification as a career changer with several years of professional experience in software development
• Solid knowledge in designing and developing multi-tenant and scalable app architectures
• Experience in cross-platform app development with established and modern frameworks
• Competence in technical decisions, ensuring high software quality, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Good knowledge of virtualisation and container technologies, especially Kubernetes, is an advantage
• Team player with high initiative, conscientious working style, and enthusiasm for co-creation
• Very good German skills; English skills (Level B2) are an advantage
• Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
