On behalf of 28 municipalities with a catchment area of over 100,000 people, we are actively engaged, accessible and networked in the following areas: Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB), professional guardianship, social counselling, mother and father counselling, addiction counselling and school social work.
Team Leader Administration KESB (Maternity Cover)
The KESB administration manages reception and administrative tasks for the KESB. As part of a maternity cover, we are looking for a team leader from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement, limited until approximately June 2027.
Your tasks
Tasks as Team Leader
- Professional and operational responsibility for the KESB administration team (5 employees and one apprentice)
- Responsibility within the team to ensure that assigned tasks are completed correctly, efficiently, with good quality and effectively
- Contact person when new tasks are delegated to the KESB administration department
- Responsibility for optimal support of the authority
- Statistical work according to specifications
- Overall operational tasks coordinated and carried out by the KESB administration case management (operation and management of the telephone system as well as public contact)
- Telephone and direct contacts with clients, third parties, institutions, authorities, etc.
- Preparation of documents for authority meetings as well as drafting and dispatching decisions
- Administrative case management (registry, file management, filing, archiving, data maintenance, correspondence, completion of delegated work, etc.)
- Business control, deadline monitoring
- Management of master data (KliB software)
What you bring
- Commercial training EFZ or equivalent qualification
- Leadership experience is essential
- Several years of experience in child and adult protection law
- Resilient, assertive personality with very good communication skills
- Empathy towards people in difficult life situations
- Teamwork and loyalty
- Confident German, fluency in spoken (including dialect) and written language
- Good IT skills (KliB knowledge essential)
- Discretion and trustworthiness
- Good ability to set priorities for oneself and the team
- Reliability (dependability and accuracy)
