About Our Client

For our client, an internationally leading biopharmaceutical company with a state-of-the-art research and development site in Central Switzerland, we are looking for a Lab Technician / Scientist QC Bioanalytical (m/f/d). The site specialises in the development of analytical methods for biological drug substances as well as the manufacturing and testing of innovative biological medicines with over 400 specialists from around the world and continuous multi-million investments in cutting-edge laboratory infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

• Release and stability testing of biological drug substances in accordance with cGMP requirements, including documentation in an electronic laboratory notebook
• Execution of analytical testing methods in the biologics space, such as biochemical assays, binding studies, functional cell-based assays, and PCR
• Application of chromatographic and electrophoretic techniques (UPLC/HPLC, capillary electrophoresis) as well as additional large molecule characterisation methods
• Method validation and transfer: drafting technical protocols and reports, as well as active contribution to method qualification
• Troubleshooting of instruments and analytical procedures to ensure smooth laboratory operations
• Maintenance, calibration, and qualification of laboratory equipment, including support for periodic reviews
• Adherence to internal regulations regarding occupational safety, health protection, and environmental compliance

Your Profile

• Completed training as a Laboratory Technician EFZ or a scientific Bachelor's degree
• Proven professional experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment
• Solid knowledge of biochemical analytical techniques, antibody biochemistry, and/or chromatographic methods (HPLC/UPLC, CE)
• Experience with PAT, spectroscopy, or biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes is an advantage
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are a plus
• Strong team player with a respectful and collaborative approach in an interdisciplinary environment
