About the job
Do you come from a technical background, keep an overview even with several parallel topics, and excel in organisation and communication? Then we are looking for you.
As a Service Coordinator, you are the central hub in our service operation. You take on technical service cases, bring structure to them, and coordinate customers, service technicians, remote support, engineering, manufacturers, and other partners until a sustainable solution is reached.
You do not need to be a specialist for every AV system. Much more important are a good overall technical understanding, the ability to ask the right questions, set priorities, and delegate tasks purposefully.
Flexible workplace: Emmenbrücke, Zurich, Wohlen, Kehrsatz as well as partly home office
Your tasks
- You take over technical service cases from the service desk and manage them through to completion
- You analyse the initial situation, structure the further procedure, and set the right priorities
- You coordinate service technicians, remote support, engineering, manufacturers, suppliers, and other involved parties
- You delegate tasks purposefully and ensure that responsibilities and next steps are clear
- You monitor agreed reaction, intervention, and resolution times
- You ensure professional and transparent communication with our customers – even in demanding situations
- You coordinate maintenance, repairs, replacement devices, and RMA cases
- You ensure that tickets, service data, and technical information are properly documented
- You support system takeovers, technical clarifications, and occasionally on-site deployments
- You contribute your experience and support the further development of our service processes as well as KPI and SLA evaluations
Your profile
- A completed technical basic education or comparable practical experience, for example in media technology, event technology, electronics, electrical engineering, building automation, or IT
- Experience in a technical environment, ideally with professional AV or multimedia systems
- A good overarching understanding of how AV and media technology, IT, and building technology interact
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- The ability to keep an overview even with several parallel cases and set clear priorities
- The ability to delegate tasks and steer different parties purposefully even without direct leadership responsibility
- A confident and professional appearance towards customers and partners
- Self-responsibility and the commitment to consistently follow through topics to completion
- Very good German skills and good English skills
Experience in service coordination, technical support, project management, scheduling, incident management, or problem management is an advantage. Additional knowledge of French or Italian as well as further training in project, service, or process management are welcome but not required.
What to expect from us:
You can expect a responsible and versatile role at the interface between technology, customer service, and organisation.
You work with experienced technicians and specialists and do not need to know every technical solution yourself. Your task is rather to ensure that the right know-how is applied at the right time and that a technical fault becomes a well-managed resolution process.
You will have a lot of freedom in organising your working day. You organise your days largely independently and together with your team. Depending on the task, you can work at one of our locations, partly from home office, or directly at the customer’s site.
If you still enjoy working hands-on technically, you can occasionally take on individual on-site assignments.
The role is particularly suitable for experienced technicians or technical project managers who want to stay close to technology but also take on more responsibility in coordination, organisation, and customer management.
Do you feel addressed? We look forward to receiving your application documents.
