We are looking to strengthen the team from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement for a Clerk Civil Registry Office (80 - 100 %).
This position is aimed at persons who are willing to complete the approximately two-year part-time training in civil registry matters and to obtain the federally recognised specialist certificate for civil registry officers.

What you can achieve

• Assistance with registrations in civil status matters (birth, child recognition, name declarations, death, etc.)
• Conducting marriage preparation procedures and weddings
• Preparing extracts from the civil status register
• Conducting funeral discussions and organising funerals
• Providing information and advice to customers at the counter and by telephone
  

What you bring with you

• Completed commercial basic training
• Professional experience in public administration is an advantage
• Good written and spoken expression in German
• Foreign language skills desired
• Enjoyment in contact with people from different cultures and life situations
• Flexibility, resilience and confident appearance
• Motivation to successfully complete the specialist certificate for civil registry officers alongside work
