The university includes numerous exhibition and performance venues where students’ project work is publicly presented.
From 1 February 2027 (or by arrangement), a position as Administrative Assistant (m/f/d) 80-100% is to be filled at the Department of Music, Study Area Composition, Theory, Sound Design and Tonmeister.
We are looking for an initiative and open-minded person with commercial or comparable training and experience in administration and organisation, ideally in the higher education sector. You work independently, precisely and reliably, are strong organisationally and communicatively, and remain flexible with changing requirements. You have experience with digital administration systems and MS Office and possess very good German and English skills; knowledge of EventoNG is an advantage. An affinity for music and art as well as an interest in a cultural environment complete your profile.
You will take on the administrative support of the students in the study area and assist the study management in the implementation of teaching. You plan and coordinate entrance examinations, module examinations and bachelor projects – from scheduling and room reservations to communication with lecturers, experts and students, to grade entry and fee processing. You monitor study progress and graduation requirements, coordinate the diploma process and handle certificates, transcripts of records and diplomas up to issuance. You administer semester enrolments and room reservations, maintain exam schedules, calendars, intranet pages and the homepage, create study-related documentation and conduct correspondence independently. In addition, you work with internal and external bodies and contribute as needed to university-wide or departmental working groups.
We offer you an interesting and demanding role in a lively and collegial environment at the Zurich Toni Areal. We live an inclusive culture and value diversity.
Interviews will take place on 26 October 2026 in Zurich.
