CHRIS sports is one of the leading companies in the Swiss bike and sports goods trade. With around 180 employees and international brands such as OOFOS, KEEN, ALLBIRDS and CLARKS, we combine sport, lifestyle and passion.

As Category Leader Shoes, you take on the strategic and operational responsibility for our shoe category. You lead your team, develop attractive assortments and, together with our brand partners, ensure successful positioning across all sales channels.

Your future daily routine with us

• Personnel and professional leadership of the Shoes category including team development
• Development and implementation of the brand strategy as well as market- and target group-oriented assortments for all sales channels
• Management of the entire go-to-market process including pre-order, reorder, promotional and marketing planning as well as budget responsibility
• Analysis of market, sales and sell-through figures and derivation of targeted measures
• Responsibility for purchasing, pricing and order planning with a focus on sales, margin and inventory
• Support of international brand partners, negotiation leadership and coordination of product training
• Ensuring product data quality as well as professional sample and showroom processes

What you bring with you

• Several years of professional and industry experience, ideally in the sports, shoe or lifestyle sector
• Experience in category or brand management or a comparable commercial function, ideally in the European market environment
• Business management training or comparable qualification
• Entrepreneurial thinking, analytical strength and confident handling of key figures, margins and budgets
• Leadership skills, social competence and strong negotiation skills
• Fluent English and German language skills
• Confident use of Microsoft 365, ideally experience with PIM, BI or comparable systems
• Willingness to travel regularly for supplier meetings, trade fairs and other appointments
