Senior IT Systems Engineer (m/f)

Your tasks

• Ensuring smooth operation of our own worldwide ICT infrastructure and IT services
• Operational partial responsibility for running our own data centres
• Providing 2nd/3rd level support regarding our ICT infrastructure and its IT services
• Active participation in the further development, standardisation and automation of our ICT infrastructure and processes (worldwide)
• Further development of existing architectures and security concepts based on requirements and existing "best practices"
• Project management of national and international IT projects as well as collaboration on national and international business projects
• Application manager for part of the ICT infrastructure core applications and thus responsible for IT change management as well as their conceptual and operational documentation
• Ensuring IT security and legal requirements when introducing new systems/applications
• Occasional worldwide travel

Your qualifications

• Completed studies at university/ETH/FH level (computer science, business informatics or similar) or comparable professional experience
• Many years of experience in IT infrastructure (integration, configuration and operation)
• Your high quality standards and structured working method allow you to confidently manage your tasks independently and to explore new methods, concepts and subject areas with curiosity
• Many years of experience, sound knowledge and certification in MS Active Directory, GPOs, DFS, DNS, DHCP, MS Exchange, MS SQL, CITRIX Workspace and VMware
• Knowledge of CAD systems, e.g. Siemens NX CAD, SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Inventor is an advantage
• Team player personality with a high sense of responsibility and quality awareness
• Independent, analytical and precise working style
• Native German speaker with very good English skills, both spoken and written
