Junior Network Engineer 80-100% (m/f/d)
What you achieve
- Participation in operational ICT operations with a focus on our nationwide network infrastructure and our Private Cloud
- Operation, monitoring and maintenance of our network infrastructure
- Configuration and administration of switches, WLAN and other network components
- Analysis and resolution of network and infrastructure faults
- Execution of changes and maintenance work
- Participation in network projects and rollouts
- Installation and replacement of network components at our locations in Switzerland
- Maintenance and further development of network documentation
What you bring
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, ideally specialising in platform development/system technology, or a comparable qualification
- Initial practical knowledge in the field of networking, for example from training, an internship or initial professional experience
- Good basics in TCP/IP, VLAN, switching, routing and WLAN
- Interest in network, server and private cloud infrastructures
- Motivation to develop professionally in network engineering while simultaneously building knowledge in system engineering
- Enjoyment in analysing and systematically resolving technical faults
- Technical understanding as well as an independent, reliable and solution-oriented working style
- Willingness to learn new things and gradually take on more responsibility
- Enjoyment of teamwork and contact with internal customers and group companies
- Willingness for occasional assignments at our locations in Switzerland
- Category B driving licence
