For our operational day-to-day business, we are looking for a down-to-earth and committed leader who is ready to get involved. You do not need to have C-level experience yet – if you have the necessary professional and leadership experience and want to take the next step to actively shape things, you are exactly right with us.

Your role

As Head of Operations, you will dive deeply into our core operational business. In the first 6 to 12 months, you will work intensively in all departments to understand our business end-to-end. The goal is to appoint you as COO upon successful onboarding and suitability and to include you in our management team in the medium to long term. On this path, you will manage the areas of private credit (PC), real estate (RE), and business credit (BC) while keeping an eye on the investment side in Investment Solutions (IS). You are not a leader from a bird’s-eye view but an approachable team player who holds the processes together and also pitches in with the daily business.

Your tasks

• Operational and personnel management: You lead a team of five employees in the areas of private credit (PC), business credit (BC), real estate (RE), and Investment Solutions (IS). You motivate your team on an equal footing, encourage and challenge them daily, and support their development.
• Volume and delta management: You keep an eye on the investment and credit volumes, coordinate the requirements of both sides, and continuously optimise the resulting delta.
• Participation in the management team: You bring operational insights into the management team and help develop pragmatic solutions for our processes and departments.
• Connecting processes: You think holistically, recognise synergies between the credit and investor sides, and ensure that daily business runs smoothly.

Your profile

• Leadership experience: Ideally, you are between 27 and 35 years old and have 2 to 4 years of experience in leading a small team, with a transparent, approachable, and humane leadership style.
• Expertise: At least a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar, solid practical knowledge, and a good understanding of the credit business (private credit, real estate/mortgages, business credit) as well as the investor side (Investment Solutions).
• Hands-on mentality: You enjoy an SME environment with 18 employees, like to get involved yourself, and think pragmatically and solution-oriented.
• Team spirit and communication: You are communicative, honest, and approachable. You see yourself as part of the team, not just as a superior.
• Languages: German at native level and good English skills (any additional language is a nice plus).
