Administration & Reception Staff (60% – 80%)
You love taking responsibility, work independently, and your strong service orientation ensures everything runs smoothly? You don’t like sitting at the desk all day but find managing the infrastructure a welcome change?
Our A-Team is the hub of SCS. As part of it, you are the first point of contact for our customers and support all employees, management, and our owner with various organisational and administrative matters. You work at the heart of SCS and come into contact with accounting, marketing, logistics, and purchasing, taking partial responsibility for events and catering.
Workload
60% – 80%
Your tasks
From welcoming external customers, suppliers, and applicants, to order processing and handling various enquiries from our employees – the admin team is the central contact point at SCS. Your role also includes
- Operating the telephone switchboard
- Versatile secretarial tasks (emails, appointment and travel organisation, cash register, accounting)
- Managing the coffee kitchen, break room, and meeting rooms
- Assisting with events and receptions for up to 120 people
- Supporting internal receptions and lunch
- Handling mail, shipping processing, and managing printed materials and office supplies as well as purchasing processing
Your profile
People-oriented, reliable, and quick to grasp things – you need these qualities to thrive in this role. The daily routine in the admin team can be hectic, but you remain calm, keep a cool head, and always stay friendly. You work in a structured way, know how to prioritise correctly, and can quickly adapt to new situations.
Additionally, you have
- A commercial apprenticeship or comparable experience
- Very good MS Office skills
- Excellent German skills, both spoken and written
- Good English skills to write emails and conduct phone calls
Furthermore, your open, friendly, and communicative manner makes it easy for you to connect with your colleagues. You also bring flexibility and enjoy variety – you like being a host, can juggle several balls at once without difficulty, and enjoy working in a team.
