Your responsibilities :

• Assessment and professional support of value preservation projects in the field of protective structures
• Support in the execution and supervision of periodic inspections of facilities and special shelters
• Support and collaboration on further projects in the area of shelters

Your background :

• Completed HF training in one of the areas of planning, structural engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, HVAC or automation, or extensive experience in structural engineering
• Extensive experience in project work
• Customer-oriented manner and negotiation skills
• Good knowledge in the use of MS Office

Office for Military and Civil Protection (AMB)

The Office for Military and Civil Protection (AMB) is an operations, training and administrative organisation. The AMB is an office with around 50 employees within the Security Directorate of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft.
The AMB is responsible for the operations of the Civil Protection Operations Unit, the training in civil protection as well as for personnel and leadership in civil defence. Administrative tasks include, among others, army duties on behalf of the federal government or the operation of the Liestal barracks. Furthermore, the AMB prepares operations and contingency planning, as well as providing logistics and administrative services.

New Protective Structures Department from January 2027

The Protective Structures area will be managed as a separate department from January 2027. To complement / form the new team, we are actively seeking new employees.
