Pharmaceutical Development Specialist / Industrial Pharmacist (R&D) 100 %

Would you like to accompany manufacturing processes from transfer into production to reliable, GMP-compliant commercial manufacturing and work closely with production, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs? In this versatile role, you will take on a key role in the industrialisation, optimisation, and support of our manufacturing processes and accompany products from tech transfer through process validation to stable series production.

Your main tasks

• Support, optimisation, and further development of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
• Planning, execution, and evaluation of process and scale-up trials
• Responsibility for the tech transfer of new products into GMP production
• Support and optimisation of existing manufacturing processes throughout the entire product life cycle
• Support production in process optimisations and troubleshooting
• Planning and execution of qualifications, requalifications, and process validations
• Creation and maintenance of development reports, manufacturing instructions, master batch records, and SOPs
• Participation in investment, plant, and automation projects
• Support during audits as well as handling CAPAs and change controls
• Training and professional support of employees in production and technology
• Close collaboration with production, quality assurance, quality control, regulatory affairs, as well as marketing & sales

Your profile

Education

• Completed studies in pharmacy (Industrial Pharmacist), pharmaceutical sciences, or pharmaceutical technology
• Alternatively, studies in pharmaceutical, chemical, or process engineering with solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry

Professional qualifications
 

You have several years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Pharmaceutical manufacturing / GMP production
• Tech transfer and scale-up
• Process validation and qualification
• Process optimisation and troubleshooting in manufacturing
• Pharmaceutical technology
• Pharmaceutical development / formulation (advantageous but not mandatory)

Additionally, you bring:

• Very good knowledge of GMP requirements
• Experience with solid, liquid, or semi-solid dosage forms
• Experience in the manufacturing and industrialisation of pharmaceutical products
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and pharmaceutical documentation
• Project management experience is an advantage
